Hi, my name is Monique but most people call me Mo. I have been a desktop publisher / graphic designer for several years now.  Currently, I work from home on my apple mac. I have had training in both PC and Mac platforms using Microsoft Publisher, Word, and Adobe CS software. Adobe includes Photoshop, Indesign, and Illustrator.  Most of my training has been on the job, but I have also taken courses in graphic design too. All of my courses have been obtained at Tri-C college. I am not a web designer yet. :) I deal with print design. I have done business cards, invitation, flyers, program booklets, funeral programs, tickets, banners, and logos. Now I will be concentrating on three area of expertise.  Flyers, Event Program Booklets, and Funeral Programs.  I enjoy these project the most. They say in life do what you love and you never work a day. Well, this is work for me but I still love it. I have been in printing for a long time since my time at Cleveland State University where I got my second job ever as a bindery assistant. From there I went on to work as an assembler at Ernst & Young, LLC printing department. I did mostly GBC comb binding there. It wasn't until I started working at OfficeMax/CopyMax that I got into graphics aka desktop publishing. Although I took a course in Apple Mac at Tri-C, it was at Copymax where I got my feet deep into graphic design. I used PC's and Mac's there and all the software I mentioned above.  My duties at Copymax where to print digital files for customers, create digital files aka flyers and I also got to create signage for the store. From there I knew that this was something I should stick with as a career choice. In the future, I would someday like to own a quick print shop. As for now, I am continuing to grow as a designer. Thank you for visiting my webpage. Peace.
